Sartoria Grassia - Fifty years of neapolitan elegance

A small workshop that was born in the early 60s on the outskirts of Naples, in an area where there is a strong tradition of tailoring and of shops dedicated and full of; passion, sacrifice, and dedication.
The Grassia family began the first steps towards the processing of menswear, in this way; following the rules of typical Neapolitan tailoring, taking delicate, handmade steps that require visual precision, stable hands, and exceptional mastery. First, thier grandfather, then the father and mother, the most experienced in the working of the buttonholes. All are involved in a production designed for foreign tailors, destined for men of elegance, businessmen who want exclusive, tailored garments.

The new generation is growing through the tables of the laboratory, between fabrics and spools, watching as jackets, formal trousers, and impeccable stitching pass before their eyes and hands. Luca and Salvatore, after school, spend their afternoons at the shop, and are beginning to use needles and threads. The passion has been handed down from father to son and the two boys are beginning to aim high, with the desire to produce thier own signature clothing pieces.
Their work begins from exclusive designs, which are mainly dealt with by Luca, Junior Master appointed by the National Academy of Tailors (Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori). A recognition that kick-started a unique production that receives customer appreciation and encouragement to move forward.

Each garment is made by a team of young tailors who run each step under the guidance of more experienced dressmakers, keeping in line ancient secrets and techniques in order to tailor the pieces at 100% efficeincy. Fine fabrics selected in specific fairs, and updated forms that follow tradition, as well as styles and market trends. The purpose is to give life to a product that starts from the classical traditions but also offers innovation and style. A challenge and a dream in which the Grassia brothers dedicate themselves fully, with utmost commitment. Their first collection has a new logo that incorporates the signature of their grandfather. It’s from here that it all began for them and this is their strongest incentive to keep going and strive for greatness.
